Parking please park on verge NOT in Chichester Hall car park - follow directions of parking marshals
Accommodation Floor space in hall from 2000 Friday - £5.00 (may be paid on arrival)
Bring Map 1:50000 Landranger 186 or 1:25000 Explorer 133, 134, 145, compass, map case & whistle, hat & gloves, waterproofs, good torch for 5pm+ finishers, warm clothing, money for bus in case of retirement
Walk details There are 2 routes, 20 & 30 miles. They are common to CP2, Tilford but then diverge. You may decide at Tilford to change routes. Those reaching CP2 after 1230 MUST change to the 20 mile route. For both routes, certificates will be awarded at finish.
Checkpoints There are 4 checkpoints along the route providing drinks and light refreshments - sandwiches, fruit & rice, biscuits, tea & squash - and a friendly welcome!!
Route Devised and written by Dave Challenger. A detailed route description will be available for download here 10 days before the event OR will be posted on that date if an SAE is included with entry form.
Start

0730 walkers. 0830 joggers & runners.

Finish all to finish by 1800 (it gets dark by about 1700)
Entry Fee £5.00 (£7.00 for non-LDWA members) for postal entries received by Jan 30th, £9.00 for all on the day entries. Note that there will be an event limit of 300 - so get your entry in to avoid disappointment.
You Get Drinks at start, hot meal at finish
Changing/Toilets CHANGING ROOMS: Ladies inside front door, Men down steps at rear of Hall. TOILETS: 2 in rear rooms and in changing rooms. SHOWERS: in men's changing room, ladies by negotiation(!)

*Marshals Walk The Marshals Walk is only open to those that have volunteered to help on the event itself or to those contributing in some other significant way (eg taking entries etc). Certificates are awarded to those successfully completing the Marshals Walk. So if you are unable to do the actual event but would like to help and thus be eligible to do the Marshals Walk please contact (details not yet available)
